  1. April (Olson) Dinges says:

Tara Olson and my beloved Grandchildren:
I have no words to express the grief that we all feel. But please, know this: Tim was never happier than when he was working on (what I call) the farm. The joy and pride that he show each time he did something in the yard, the landscaping, or just the joy of you and him planting your gardens. Of course had to have the Hot peppers for his collection. The stories he would tell, like getting lost in the woods and you driving up and down county road yelling so he could follow your voice out, Or the jokes your Dad would play on the “city boy”, or last summer, when he had to show everyone all of the pink and purple fishing gear he bought you, because you had said you can only catch fish with pink bait.. and how the guys teased when he had to walk out of the store with his “pink” tackle box.. just for you,, the special things he did for the kids, special breakfasts and flowers that Kayla could not kill by forgetting to water, on her birthdays. His fishing buddies TJ and Trystan. He loved to take his boys out on the boat to fish for hours. the photo’s he would take of his beloved home,, the ice hanging from tree’s.. His fishing trips from sun up to sun up with the boys (because would stay out all night) the mounted fish he was so thrilled with.(TJ) I will take comfort in knowing in his short life with us, had seen happiness and joy. I could see it on his face everytime I came up for fishing trips with him, and thanksgiving deep fried turkey..the special bond between him and Kyle, he loved Kyle’s quick wit, it stumped him everytime (haha, thata boy Kyle) and how proud he was of Dylan’s football achievements… these are the memories I will hold dear and close to me. This is what will see me through. This is what I will remember. I love you all.
I loved My son, there are no words for the hole that will forever remain in my heart.

Carissa, we will remember the good times you and Tim shared, his love for you and the boys; he was part of our family and we will pay our respects in our own manner. It’s unfortunate that death can become ugly. Tim was a fantastic guy…we will certainly miss him.
Certainly my respects to Tim’s family as this is not easy and will take time to accept, I know from losing my own son and brother to the very same. May you work through your emotions and find forgiveness in our hearts.
RIP Tim, You will be missed.
