Thomas C. Callahan

Thomas C. Callahan, age 90, of Adams, Wisconsin died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the United in Christ Lutheran Church in Dellwood, Wisconsin.   Rev. T. Christian Nelson will officiate.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment will be at the Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Tomah, Wisconsin at a later date.

Thomas was born September 28, 1922 in Lewiston, Minnesota to Harry T. and Esther A. (Trump) Callahan. He and his family moved to Spencer, WI when Thomas was one year old.  Thomas lived in Spencer for 60 years, before moving to Okauchee, Wisconsin for several years with Ed and Mary Diethman.  He moved with Ed and Mary to Adams, Wisconsin in 1993.

Thomas enjoyed listening to music, especially polka.  He loved making people happy, playing cards, arts and crafts, being outside, nature, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Harry T. and Esther A. (Trump) Callahan; cousins:  John Trump and Daniel Trump.

Cousin:  Mary (Ed) Diethman of Adams, Wisconsin
Cousin:  Roger Trump of Discovery Bay, California
Cousin:  Jerry Trump of Antelope, California
Cousin:  Tom Ganschow of Athens, Georgia
Further survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Tommy will live on in the hearts and memories of many.  Even though he was as playful as a child, we all respected him for the man he was.

    I am so blessed to have known Tom for so many wonderful years. He was such a blast of fun in day care at Moundview for about 20 some years. I am so glad I got to see him shortly before he passed. He seemed his usual self. Mary and Ed, it was so sad to here that he passed away after that. I will miss him. You folks took such good care of him all these years. God bless you guys. Love always.     Mary and Edward, Strength and Blessings to you both, the news of Toms passing is too sad. It will not be the same without him telling Joe how to drive, and trying to get out of Weds cleaning.
