Stanley Eugene Roen

Stanley Eugene Roen, age 69, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his home.

Per his request, no services will be held.

Stanley was born August 23, 1948 in Baldwin, Wisconsin to Raymond and Jeanette (Vande Vrede) Roen. He graduated from Beloit High School in 1966. Stanley served in the Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for Demco in De Forest, WI for many years and later at Mattel in Middleton, WI. Following retirement, he lived in Poynette before moving to Friendship in 2008.

Stanley enjoyed fishing, hunting, having a cold beer, spending time with his children and grandkids.

Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Roen; mother, Jeanette Sharp; and sister, Sharon Perkins.

Daughter: Kathy (Tony) Hughes of Normal, Illinois
Daughter: Laurie (John Schock) Guirlando of Machesney Park, Illinois
Sister: Joyce (David) Boyer of South Beloit, Illinois
Brother: Mike (Tammy) Roen of Beloit, Wisconsin
Brother: Bruce (Jerri) Roen of Beloit, Wisconsin
Further survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
