Sharon Lynn Herda

Sharon Lynn Herda, age 83, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Sharon was born August 30, 1933 in Newberry, Michigan to Jack and Nita (Thompson) Miller.

She married James Herda on October 22, 1955 in Berwyn, IL. They made their home in North Riverside, IL and later retired to Friendship, WI in 1993.

Sharon enjoyed laughing with her friends, cooking, shopping, and crocheting.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Nita; husband, James; and son, Gary James.

Grandchild: Patrick (Megan) Campagna of Lagrange Park, IL

Great-Grandchild: Joseph Anthony Campagna of Brookfield, IL
Great-Grandchild: Lily Jane Campagna of Brookfield, IL
Great-Grandchild: Avery Marie Campagna of Lagrange Park, IL
Great-Grandchild: George Kennedy Campagna of Brookfield, IL

    Dear Lori and Family; We will surely miss Sharon and our talks and humor. Even when she felt bad she had humor. Please let me know when and where the Memorial Services will be. She thought highly of all of you and we discussed the family ever week even when she was having rough times. God Bless and know that she is at peace.     My heart felt sympathies go out to her family and friends. Sharon was a sweet and wonderful woman with a quick wit and a kind spirit. She always made me laugh, smile and think. I had the pleasure of getting to know Sharon back when I was first 17 years old. She was always someone I could count on to listen and be honest with me. She was someone I looked to, looked up to and admired. She will be missed and always treasured in my heart. May you all find peace and comfort in this time.

    I worked with Sharon years ago. At that time I was the Director of Aging Programs for Juneau County. She and I shared many laughs and I just loved her fun personality.
