Sharon Kay Lintelmann

Sharon Kay Lintelmann, 70, of La Crosse, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017, at the Hillview Health Care Center.

Sharon was born April 26, 1947, in La Crosse, to Kenneth and Mavis (Tomkins) Lintelmann.  She graduated from La Crosse Central High School in 1965 and U.W.-La Crosse in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  She taught one year in Freeport, Ill., and 38 years in the Adams Friendship School District.  While teaching at Adams Friendship Middle School, she coached Olympics of the Mind and was the yearbook advisor.  She served on the Executive Board of the Adams Friendship Education Association, was a WEA union representative, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Adams.  After retiring in 2007, Sharon suffered a stroke.  Hillview Health Care Center became home for the next ten years with a new family and dear friends.

Sharon enjoyed music, bird watching, game shows and interacting with kids and adults alike.  Her adventures included trips to Europe, England, and an appearance on Wheel of Fortune with one of her students.

Sharon is survived by two sisters, Becky (John) Marcou and family, and Kathy (Greg) Roesler; nephew, Nathaniel Roesler and nephew and godson, Nicholas (Nicole) Roesler and their children, Abby, Audrey and Alice.  She was preceded in death by her parents; special aunt, Thema Weber; and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4th, at the Hillview Health Care Center, 3501 Park Lane Dr., La Crosse.
