Robert Edward Jones Jr.

Robert Edward Jones Jr., age 76, of Friendship (formerly of Milwaukee), Wisconsin died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his heaven on Earth in Big Flats, Wisconsin with his wife and daughter at his side.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29th, 2017 at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, 5311 S. Howell Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53207.

Robert was born March 13, 1940 in Memphis, TN to Robert Edward Sr. and Addie Lee (Parrish) Jones. He moved to Milwaukee in 1941. He graduated from Lincoln High School and later graduated from Technical College with a welding degree and was a master welder. Robert welded for 50 years, with 23 years at Ladish Company in Cudahy and later started his own welding and metal sculpture business here in Friendship, Wisconsin. He blessed many people with his metal sculptures and they can still be enjoyed in many homes and commercial settings to this day. Robert was a beloved teacher, he taught and gave anyone with a listening ear priceless wisdom and love. He lived life to the fullest wherever he was.

Robert enjoyed walking in his woods, fishing, hunting, boating, water skiing, music, dancing, eating, laughing, spirited conversations, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Robert was a member of IAM Local #1382.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Addie Jones; brothers: Larry (Raheem Muhammad) Jones and Michael (Mikal Muslim) Jones; and step-mother, Catherine Jones.

Further survived by several great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, adored nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
