Rita Ann Lecy-Foth, age 69, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away following a very short and sudden illness on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Roseberry’s Funeral
Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Rita was born April 27, 1947 in Adams, Wisconsin to Lester and Beverly (Alderman) Lecy.
She graduated from Adams-Friendship High School.
Rita was married on July 4, 1965 to Marvin Gruber in White Creek, Wisconsin. This marriage was blessed with three children. Rita and Marvin divorced in 1981. Rita later married James Foth in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Rita loved country music, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She cared for her siblings while they were growing up as well as many others. Rita was very well loved by all that knew her.
She was a former member and president of the CWCMA.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Lecy & Beverly Alderman; daughter, Theresa Gruber; Son-in-law, Brian Graske; brothers, William Calvin; Roddrick Lumby & Renwick Johnson.

I have been trying to figure out how best to say this but everything seems like its just not enough so I’m gonna do my best. Dawna and Shawna and Bill, and really to all of Rita’s family, please know that you are not alone in your grief. Rita was one of the best people I have had the great pleasure of knowing. She always had a beautiful smile for everyone. With all the time I spent at your home when we were younger Dawna, made me feel like she was another mom to me, I feel lucky to have known her. Rita came to my High School graduation in 1977! I will remember that time forever. She was such a wonderful person, and I will cherish those times forever. She was so full of fun and laughter for me, and I’ll never forget her. LOVE You Rita!
