Richard Allen “Red” Kohler was born on 2-16-1941 in Cudahy, WI and died on 8-29-15 at home in Montello, WI.

Red was a mechanic all his life, enjoyed long car trips, loved riding his trike and being on his computer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Helen Kohler, brothers Frankie and Ernie, and son Michael King. He is survived by his wife, Gerry Lynn; son Richard (Janeal) Kohler; Grandchildren Cru and Colton; Son David (Debbie) Roberts; grandchildren Amanda, Raymond and great grandson Javen. Daughter April (Pate) Krueger; grandchildren Austin, Alexis, great-grandson Lane; Son Jim (Becky) King, grandchildren Jesse, Dustin, Brandon,  Daughter Laurie (Rich) Zoran; Spencer, Derek, Dillon, Brianna. Daughter Cathy (Eric) King, grandchildren Savannah, Kirsten, Shani, Donovan and grandson Aaron King.

A celebration of his life will be on Friday from 12pm to 3pm at the Montello American Legion. Please no flowers.

    I was saddened to hear of Red’s passing. He was such a good hearted guy. He put a smile on my face no matter what was going on. He was a very good technician and I enjoyed working with him. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
