To the Corcoran Family & Brothers Tim and Mike,
Pat held a special place in my heart. Pat came to my rescue my sophomore year in high school when I broke my leg in a basketball game at Central H.S. I sat in the locker room long after the game was over with no one coming in to check on my condition. Everyone showered and left me there without either coach seeing how I was doing or how I was getting home or whether I should go to a hospital. Then Pat came in, picked me up in his arms and carried me to his car and then drove me home. He carried me up to my front door, rang the doorbell and took me in.
The next day I was operated on with a screw inserted into my knee and an ankle to thigh cast to show for it. I’ll be forever thankful for this caring man, but that was just who he was…….Bob Parisi

    Gloria and family,
I am sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and Pat’s family during this time of learning to live without him near. But, as mentioned in an above note, bet he’s dancing a gig and telling stories in heaven.

  5. Catherine Swanson-Hayes says:

To Mrs. Gloria Corcoran and family, I send you my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your beloved husband, and devoted family member. I attended Central High School with Pat and thoroughly enjoyed his positive countenance, his thoughtful, respectful and kind approach to all who were traveling through those years with him. He was full of fun and school spirit while being a pleasure to be around— a very special tribute to say about any young man. I remember several of us sledding down a steep hill at Blackhawk Country Club one week-end night, he went first and with exuberance he broke his leg, then carried on with stoic bravery. Shortly after he calmly started back at school! He never lost his stride. I believe in angels, and know Pat is close by you, and will continue to support you in spirit, always. I believe the love we share with others here, stays close with us until we meet again. Respectfully, and with love and compassion,
Cathy (Burrows) Swanson-Hayes and my husband John Hayes. ???

  10. Leo Cross says:

My thoughts and prayers go out to Pat’s family/extended family at this time of your great loss. Even though we haven’t been in touch much in the past few years, I had the opportunity to work with Pat at the Post Office and lived in the same neighborhood. He was my sponsor for the Moose Lodge. I also coached with him for a year or two for The North Cardinal football team when our kids were younger. We even had cottages next to each other in the Dellwood Pavillion area. R.I.P. Patty’ O.

  11. Tom Robertson says:

My heart is with you Gloria, Pat was a true friend, and I will miss him, He was a true fighter until the very end. I feel God’s Navy will never be the same, with pat on board. We have both of you in our prayers… Tom
