Patricia L. Cote
Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father Francis Dias will officiate. Visitation will be 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin at a later date.
Patricia was born April 27, 1942 in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada to John and Yvonne (Lemieux) Gignac. She grew up in Amherstburg and married Donald J. Cote in May of 1958. They moved to the States in 1960. They moved several times before settling in Friendship in 1972. She raised three children and was actively involved in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Ladies Auxiliary and Choir. Patricia moved to Florida in 1980 and worked at Morton Plant Hospital. She enjoyed the warm weather and the beaches of Florida.
She remarried the love of her life, Don, on May 12, 2007. They enjoyed their retirement spending warm winters in Clearwater, FL and summers in Friendship with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a green thumb growing beautiful flowers in both places. She loved cooking, baking, playing euchre, bridge, playing the piano and bingo.
Memorials may be directed in Patricia’s memory to American Cancer Society.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Yvonne Gignac; husband, Donald Cote; and babies: Michelle, Michael, and Patrick.
