Michael Lee Walczak, age 61, of Friendship (formerly of Allenton), Wisconsin died Monday, February 19, 2018 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held later this summer.

Michael was born December 26, 1956 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Richard and Betty (Weston) Walczak. He served in the Air Force before graduating from Electronic Technical Institute in Denver, Colorado. Michael married Jeanne L. McGrath on May 05, 1984 in Denver, Colorado. They made their home in Aurora, Colorado where they raised their son, Lee Michael Walczak who was born February 28, 1985. Michael worked in Denver before moving to West Bend, Wisconsin in 1988. Later, the family moved to Allenton, WI before to Friendship, WI in 2006. Michael worked for Ho-Chunk Casino in Wisconsin Dells for 12 years before retiring due to his health concerns.

Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to rock-n-roll – his favorite band was “the Who,” painting, Facebook, and partying.

Memorials may be directed in Michael’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and First Friends Animal Rescue INC of in Adams WI.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Betty Walczak; and son, Lee Michael Walczak;

Sister: Janet Unke of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Brother: Doug Walczak of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Brother: John (Lisa) Walczak of Campbellsport, Wisconsin
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
