They resided in Eastman where their union was blessed with 4 children whom she loved and adored. Mary and Bernard moved to Minnesota for a short time before residing in Clinton, Wisconsin. She worked as a secretary for local businesses including Gilbank Construction Company. She was involved in the St. Stephens Catholic Community cooking for many fundraisers, cleaning the church, singing in the choir, teaching catechism as well as being a member on the altar society. Mary also enjoyed sewing, scrabble, card games, bowling and just socializing with others. Most weekends were spent with extended family creating lasting bonds and many memories. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Mary will be deeply missed.

Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bernard Haines, her son Jeffery (Kitrina) Haines, her daughters Lani (Donald) Fridley, Diane Haines, Trudy (Scott) Miller, her cherished grandchildren Jamie and Christian Fridley; her sister Irene Morovits and brother James Prohaska, sister-in-law to Ruby (Haines) Hay, Ida (Haines) Ward, Terry (Sherry) Haines, Arthur (Sandy) Haines and Darlene (Chris) Girton.
