Margaret Faye Mortensen “Marge”

Margaret Faye Mortensen “Marge”, age 65, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Neil Schoffner will officiate. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Margaret was born September 17, 1951 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Alonzo and Fannie (Clift) Palmer.
She married Thomas A. Mortensen on March 16, 1973 in Michigan. Margaret stood beside Thomas as he served in the Navy for 22 years. They retired to Adams County in 1995.

Margaret enjoyed LIFE, putting smiles on people’s faces, spending time with her family and family get togethers, taking pictures, riding her trike, Hawaiian vacations with Tom and friends, snuggling with her dogs, working with her friends, visiting with her mother and granddaughter in Nebraska, jet boating parties with family and friends, and driving her mustang.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo & Fannie Palmer; sister, Peggy (Paul) Bishop; brothers, Larry Palmer; Jerry Palmer and Ronnie Palmer.

Husband: Thomas Mortensen of Adams, Wisconsin
Daughter: Rhonda (Clay Bukowiec) Davis of Navarino, Wisconsin
Son: David Reid of Park City, Illinois
Daughter: Tish (John) Frazier of Round Lake, Illinois
Ten grandchildren: Jessica, Dillon (Amy), Cody, Domonique, Giovanni, Aryana, Artice, Madison, Megan, and Michael
One great-granddaughter: Arely
Sister: Carol Palmer of Benton Harbor, Michigan
Sister: Connie (Mike) Miston of Benton Harbor, Michigan
Puppies: Ricky & Sadie
