I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mother. Lucille will always hold a special place in my heart. She was so sweet and a wonderful 4H leader. We all learned a lot from her. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed talking about her family whenever I saw her. She was quite the Watkins dealer she could talk you into things that you really didn’t need. Glenn my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

  3. Karen Murphy (Rank) says:

  4. Nancy Wical says:

    To Lucille’s family,
Lucille was a very special friend of mine. I enjoyed the happy times we shared and the laughter and most ‘serious” conversations that always seemed to happen. She was a very talented cook who always wanted you to sit down to eat and talk. After eating you would get the pleasure of her playing the piano or organ and hearing “your special songs .” She took such pleasure being able to show you how talented she was. ALL Lucille’s kitties and birds will miss her. They appreciated all the years that she fed them.
I will miss her greatly and will remember what a great friend she was to me. May she rest in peace and finally be free of the pains she had for so many years.

  5. Harvey & Ruth Peterson says:

Diane, Linda and Glenn – I am very glad I had the opportunity to visit with your Mother after my Mother’s funeral and hear her play the piano…and to buy one more bottle of Watkins vanilla. She was a wonderful cook and I always had a fun time playing cards with her when I came to visit. I wonder if Mother, Dad, your Dad and Mother are playing 500 right now. Remember the good times with your Mother and know that she is now at peace.

Our sincere sympathy to Lucille’s family. She was a great 4-H leader in my earlier years growing up in Arkdale & we enjoyed time spent with her at the Sand County Players plays & the local hospital Women’s Night Out in later years. She loved to play the piano & I’ll bet she is playing it now in heaven and dancing with Bill. RIP Lucille.

  15. Brenda and Bob Volp says:

    Dear Diane, Glenn, and Linda,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I certainly know how hard it is having to say good-bye to my mom a very short time ago. I am so glad that Karen and I got to hear her play Amazing Grace on the piano. She is the most gifted musician I have ever known and I loved to hear her play. My fondest memories are those and the love of playing cards. She was always down to business and wanted to win while I can still hear Uncle Bill laughing and having as much fun winning or losing. I am sure they are together now discussing the situation. Much love, Brenda and Bob
