LeRoy Arthur Watson, age 81, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Friday, September 14, 2018 at home.
LeRoy was born June 28, 1937 in Madison, Wisconsin to Elmer J. Watson and Catherine Ethel. He married Marilyn Johnson on December 17, 2003 in Adams, Wisconsin. LeRoy worked in construction in Madison, Wisconsin. LeRoy was a member of Carpenters Local #314 for 33 years, and also a Building Inspector for the city of Madison for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Watson of Friendship, WI; children: Jodi (Rick) Herbig of Madison, WI; Marc (Margie) Watson of Sauk City, WI; Scott (Joanna) Watson of Madison, WI; Cindi Pluemer of Marshall, WI; and Mike (Missy) Watson of Waunakee, WI; and step-sons: David (Becky) Farrell of Janesville, WI and Brad (Stacey) Russell of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; nineteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Agrace Hospice Care of Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Roseberry’s Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Marilyn, Don and I find it hard to express how sorry we are that Roy passed. We remember fondly the good times we had with both of you.

Our hearts are heavy to hear about Roy’s passing. The two of you have become such a special part of our lives over the past 9 years. We have always enjoyed our time spent visiting and having dinners up at the lake with both you and Roy. Earth has lost a truly wonderful man, but Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Marilyn- We are saddened to hear about the loss of Roy. We always enjoyed our time at the lake and having dinner with the two of you. Roy was always so helpful looking after our home when we were not there. We will sure miss him and are thinking of you at this time.
