Kirk McCoy

Kirk McCoy, age 77, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died Friday, January 11, 2013 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 12 Noon on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Interment will be at the Strongs Prairie Cemetery, Strongs Prairie Township, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Kirk was born April 1, 1935 in Yeager, West Virginia to Joseph and Fannie McCoy. He grew up in West Virginia and moved to Chicago, IL where he married Anita May Stanley on August 19, 1961. They made their home in Ingleside, IL before retiring to Arkdale, WI in 1993.

Kirk enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing, the outdoors, his dogs.

Kirk was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Fannie McCoy; wife, Anita McCoy; son, Luke McCoy; brothers: Walter McCoy and Lecy McCoy; grandchild: Stephanie Wade; Great-Grandchildren: Angel and Jaidan.

    Phyllis and family, I am sorry that we are not there. I wish Anna and I would have visited him before we moved. Anna misses him so much and is also upset that she didn’t get to spend time with him before we moved. He will be missed very much. He is no longer in pain or sick.
