June K. Hillert
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Church and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
June was born June 25, 1951 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Bernhard Edmund and Eleanora Annie (Kohlwey) Dobberfuhl. She graduated from Reedsville High School in 1969 and then attended UW Stevens Point, receiving a teaching degree in 1973. June married Martin Hillert Jr. on July 6, 1974 in Wayside, Wisconsin.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, golfing, traveling, bird watching, theatre, and raising funds for MS.
June was a member of Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church, AFS group, Minnesota Lioness Club, Friends of the Library, the A-F Performing Arts Center, and many other service organizations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernhard & Eleanora Dobberfuhl; brother-in-law, John Hillert; sister-in-law, Judy Hillert; special friend, Mary Jo Klaus and many aunts, uncles & cousins.

Marty, we were so sorry to hear about June. She was always an inspiration to Cleta and I. Especially since Cleta’s stroke, we can more clearly appreciate her upbeat and radiant personality. Cleta has many times told the story of her and June riding down the kitchen elevator at the White House and their temptation to eat some of the food there, but they refrained, You are in our hearts and prayers.
