Judith Viola Schneider, age 78, of Wautoma, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her home from complications of COPD.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma, Wisconsin. Rev. Roger Riedel will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church.

Judith was born September 21, 1939 in Mequon, Wisconsin to Peter and Sylvia (Goeden) La Flex. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thiensville, Wisconsin. She married Kent Schneider on September 14, 1957 at the Church of the Incarnation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They lived in Thiensville, Milwaukee, and Waterford. Following Kent’s retirement in 1994, they moved to Westfield and to Wautoma, Wisconsin in 2016.

Judith enjoyed going out to eat, gardening, playing sheepshead, and spending time with her family.

Judith was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma and Wautoma Senior Citizens.

Memorials may be directed in Judith’s memory to Peace Lutheran Church.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Sylvia La Flex.

Son: Kevin Frank (finance – Jane Johns) Schneider of Burlington, Wisconsin
Daughter: Kim (Todd) Wolter of Cudahy, Wisconsin
Grandchildren: 12
Great-Grandchildren: 8
Sister: Donetta Mutz of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
Brother: Robert (friend – Gloria) La Flex of Port Washington, Wisconsin
Special Friend: Sharon Kennedy of Pleasant Lake, Wisconsin
Further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many good friends.

Her soul is now with Christ and all true believers in Christ as Lord and Savior. You never know what you miss until it’s gone. I did not know how much I loved her until she went. But I know I will see my sweetheart on Resurrection Day.
