John Sipla

John Sipla, age 95, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. Richard Corning will officiate. Interment will be at the Fordham Cemetery, Town of Adams, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

John was born May 20, 1921 in Adams, Wisconsin to Antone and Anna (Jandik) Sipla. He married Frances Kearney on September 21, 1942 in Adams, Wisconsin. John worked at Badger Ordnance in Baraboo, Wisconsin before joining the State Highway Department. He retired on November 7, 1983.

John enjoyed crafts, hunting, and fishing.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Antone and Anna Sipla; brothers: Irvin. Edward, Albert, Frank, George; and sister, Laura.

Sister: Irene (Otto) Pavelec of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Step-Great-grandchild: Tim Zindars of Neshkoro, Wisconsin
Step-Great-grandchild: Chris Zindars of New Lisbon, Wisconsin
Great-Great-grandchildren: Ilee Devogel, Taylor Zindars, Katie Zindars, Christian Zindars, Shelby Zindars, Cloe Zindars, Abigail Zindars
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
