Jerry L. Short

Short_PhotoJerry L. Short, age 68, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Jerry was born May 17, 1947 in Urbana, Illinois to Paul and Loretta (Buchanan) Short.

He graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1965.

Jerry then enlisted with the United States Coast Guard and was honorably discharged in 1971. Upon returning home, he attended Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids.

Jerry married Charlotte D. Page on December 8, 1972 in Adams, Wisconsin.

Jerry retired after over 20 years from FCI-Oxford in 1998.

He enjoyed carpentry, wildlife, hunting and joking with friends.

Jerry was a member of Ducks Unlimited.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Loretta Short and sister, Janet Hohenstein.

Brother-in-law: George Page of Friendship, Wisconsin
Brother-in-law: Charles (Dawn) Page of Adams, Wisconsin
Further survived by numerous nieces & nephews
