Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. Richard Eberly will officiate. Visitation will be 12 Noon until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Janette was born November 30, 1929 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Louis and Lillian (Fehrmann) Johnson. She married Paul Hazard in 1947. The marriage was blessed with eight children. Later in life, following Paul’s passing, Janette married Charles Totka in 1979. She worked as a waitress, cashier, and owned and operated Hazard’s Bar in Milwaukee and CT’s Bar in Cudahy. Later she worked at Uptown Trading Post in Wisconsin Dells.
Janette enjoyed bingo, reading, knitting, bird watching, gardening, fishing, and playing cards.
Janette was preceded in death by her father, Louis Johnson; mother, Lillian (Fehrmann) Tatro; step-father, Sylvester Tatro; brother, Willard Johnson; husband, Paul Hazard; second husband, Charlie Totka; son, Paul Hazard Jr.; son, Pat Hazard; daughter-in-law, Debra Hazard; and sister-in-law, Peggy Johnson.
