Jane M. Theisen
In September 2010, Jane was united in marriage with David Theisen of Adams, WI. After they married, her family expanded by gaining two step sons Brad and Adam. David and Jane had a special bond and seemed to be able to read each other’s minds. During their seven years of marriage they enjoyed gardening, antiquing, hosting family gatherings, and, most of all, each other’s company. The pride her and Dave had in their yard was visible and the beauty was appreciated by everyone who saw it. Together they prepared and perfected the annual Thanksgiving Dinner where Jane showcased her cooking talents—no one left hungry!
Jane had a huge heart, a great sense of humor and was a very giving person. She was always the first one there in a time of need. Being employed in customer service for the US Postal Service allowed her to exercise her innate talents of helping others. She had a true passion for cooking, reading, fashion, and loved to end her nights with a laugh from “Friends” or “Everybody Loves Raymond”. Jane was classy in every sense of the word. Never would you find her without appropriate attire, accessories, and the personality to accompany it.
Jane was very fond of her son-in-law Matt and a proud Grandmother of her “peanut,” Bradley. She would take any opportunity she could to show photos and videos. Jane loved video calls with Bradley on a daily basis and enjoyed listening to his giggling video each and every day. Her love for her Grandson was so unbelievably strong that it was felt by everyone! She also cherished her dear sisters, with whom she shared a unique bond.
Survivors include: her husband Dave Theisen of Adams; her son Ryan Franz of Poynette; daughter Trisha (Matt) Leaf, Grandson Bradley of Bloomington, MN; step sons Brad (Alisha) of McFarland and Adam Theisen of Madison; her Father Gilbert and Jean Rauls of DeForest; sisters Sue (Randy) Langer of DeForest; Sheila (Brett) Dinkel of Terre Haute, IN; Renee (Troy) Statz of Sun Prairie; her in laws Herb and Kay Theisen, Niki Theisen, Dana (Charlie) Johnson, Randy (Dawn) Theisen, Paul (Vicki) Theisen, and Neil (Kandy) Theisen of Adams, WI. She was preceded in death by husband Brad Franz and mother Wylina Rauls.
Visitation services will be held Friday, May 19, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Ryan & Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home & Cremation Services; DeForest, WI. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Olaf Catholic Church; DeForest, WI.

Aunt Jane was a wonderful aunt to me a she was very special to us my thoughts and prayers are with uncle David and his two boys and her family and our family the theisen family at this very difficult time
