James Harvey Gouker (Jim), 70, of Mauston, WI, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, from health-related complications. Jim was born October 12, 1947, in Oregon, WI to June and Everett Gouker. Jim will be remembered for his love of Automobile Racing, Coin collecting, Baseball and Hand-Tossed Meat Lover’s Pizza.
Jim was a member of the Mauston United Methodist Church. In his younger years, he enjoyed teaching Sunday school, leading Youth Groups and teaching Confirmation Classes. He also loved camping.
Jim is survived by his son, James Harvey Gouker II (wife, Angela), grandchildren, Timothy (TJ) Gouker, Katrina Behnke (husband, Josh) and Krystal Hermosillo. He was preceded in death by his older brother Richard Gouker (wife, Nancy) and is survived by his younger brother David Gouker and sister Susan Ross (husband, Allen).
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Mauston United Methodist Church. Pastor Anita Genrich will officiate. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
