James H. Johnson

James H. Johnson, age 83, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship.   Pastor Jerry Stamper will officiate.  Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and again from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

James was born August 10, 1933 in Adams County, Wisconsin.

He married Shirley H. Gibbens on October 6, 1956 in Dubuque, Iowa.

James worked for Robert’ s Motors in Friendship for 25 years until his retirement.  Following his retirement, James and Shirley worked as maintenance for the VFW in Adams and other local businesses.

He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, painting, and spending time with his family.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl (Gordon) Galbraith; wife, Shirley Johnson and special friend, Madge Fitzpatrick.
