Jaceton Roger “J.R.” Snyder

snyder-photos-0003-expandedJaceton Roger “J.R.” Snyder, age 75, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.   Pastor Sam Downey will officiate.  Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Easton Cemetery On Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

Jaceton was born August 8, 1940 in Muncy, Pennsylvania to Henry and Josephine (Figels) Snyder.

He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1957 and served in the Mediterranean on the USS Taconic. Jaceton was honorably discharged in 1963.

He enjoyed family, classic cars, hunting, and fishing.  Jaceton especially loved riding his motorcycle, putting miles behind him traveling out West.

He was a member of the Harley Owners Group, ABATE Wisc, AARP, NRA, and the Gold Prospectors Assc. of America (GPAA).

Jaceton was preceded in death by his father, Henry Stephen Snyder; mother, Josephine Lucille Figels, and Great-Grandson, Miles Gerth.

Son:  Roger (Jamie) Snyder of Burlington, Wisconsin

Daughter:  Brenda (Dave) Fraley of Burlington, Wisconsin

Son:  Daniel (Cynthia) Snyder of Burlington, Wisconsin

Grandson:  Noah Snyder of Burlington, Wisconsin

Granddaughter:  Ariel Snyder of Burlington, Wisconsin

Grandson:  Justin Gerth of Burlington, Wisconsin

Grandson:  Kevin Gerth of Burlington, Wisconsin

Grandson:  Taylor Gerth of Burlington, Wisconsin

Granddaughter:  Brittny Zabler of Shawano, Wisconsin

Six Great-Grandchildren:  Ivy, Izik, April, Jesse, Jaceton, and Raelyn

Brother:  Gary Snyder of Racine, Wisconsin

Four cousins:  Ann, LeRoy, Vicky, and Peggy

Loving Companion: Bandit
