Irene Katherine Button

 

Irene Katherine Button, age 91, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 05, 2017 at the Big Flats Cemetery.   Rev. John K. Stake will officiate.

Irene was born October 25, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois to Andrew and Rose (Dropinski) Nazimek.   She married Franklin Cleo Button on November 30, 1946.  They made their home in Big Flats, Wisconsin.  Irene worked at Ore Ida Potato Company in Plover, Wisconsin.

Irene enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Rose Nazimek; husband, Franklin Button; son, Jairus Button; granddaughter: Rebecca Lynn Joswick; sisters: Genevieve Cracky and Isabelle Jannotta; brothers:  Henry Nazimek, John Nazimek and Frank Nazimek; half-brothers:  George Bender and Louis Bender.

Survivors:

Daughter:  Roxana (Robert) Oliver of Friendship, Wisconsin

Grandchild:  Jesse (Toby) Button of Rhinelander, Wisconsin

Grandchild:  Jean (Ken Brauner) Hilson of Friendship, Wisconsin

Grandchild:  Laura (Tony) Joswick of Rhinelander, Wisconsin

Grandchild:  Heather (Clay) Smith of Friendship, Wisconsin

Great-Grandchild:  Andrew Button

Great-Grandchild:  Melody Button

Great-Grandchild:  Hunter Smith

Great-Grandchild:  Jordan Smith

Great-Grandchild:  Sierra Joswick

Great-Grandchild:  Lizzie Joswick

Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
