Jodi,
Just saw the notice of your dad’s passing. You have my deepest sympathy. God bless
I have few regrets in my life. Knowing Helmer Lecy such a very short time was one of them. Helmer was one of most decent guys I have ever run across. He has left us now, but in his wake, I come away a better man having to know him what little I did. When we get to heaven just listen for his special laugh, then look for the man showing our Lord how to dismantle an electric motor to get the copper wire. Thank You my friend, for setting an example for me to follow, I won’t let you down…
Dear Lecy family we are so sorry for your loss
He will be missed by all of us as he touched so many lives. But he will live on in our hearts and memories.
Helmer touched the lives of many and we ask the family to also pray for us who are grieving the departure of this wonderful man as we will keep you also in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Shed tesrs awhile if you must but grieve not for what we lost but be grateful for what we had RIP Helmer.
My sympathies to the Lecy family on your loss, he will be missed by many. May your memories keep you company the future.
I’m so sorry for your loss, every time I saw “Grandpa”(Lavender and I always just called him grandpa), he always had a smile on his face. I hope you all are okay and remember he’s with Uncle Loren now, so he’s okay. He wouldn’t want you to be sad.
Again, I’m so sorry for your loss.
Our sincerest sympathy. May you find peace in the good memories.
Love & prayers.

What a great Lion and humanitarian – Helmer and Myrt served their first year on the International Board when I was privileged to serve as International President, and made many contributions that year and for many years in the future. We worked together on Campaign SightFirst, where Helmer was a Sector Coordinator. I am aware that he is a Lion legend in Wisconsin and particularly in his home town of Arkdale – he left a tremendous legacy of love for humanity, and will be forever missed.
