Sorry we can’t make it to the funeral. Aunt Helen was a special lady who always cheered me up whenever I saw her. I am glad she made it to our wedding with Wilma 7 years ago. She is one of my favorite aunts.

  5. Cathy and Dennis Rathermel, Grenneth says:

Helens family, I am so saddened to hear about Helen. She always had a loving heart. Like her mother she never had a bad word to say about anyone and always had a smile to share. What a strong hard working lady and Dennis and I have many good memories of her and Bert. I am so glad mom had the opportunity to go and visit with her a couple of weeks ago. She was going to stop last Friday when she went to visit a friend but ran out of time. All good memories of her will be remembered for years to come. Sending our love, may peace be with you all. Cathy, Dennis Rathermel and Aunt Grenneth

  6. Charlene Jensen says:

Being neighbors I would often see Helen in her yard as I walked by, back in the day. We usually shared a wave and on occasion, a few words. She took good care of her yard and flowers, and evidently liked being outdoors. May God bless her memory.

  7. Karen Wollenburg says:

I traveled with the family and Helen to Nashville a few year ago and visited the “Grand Ole Orpy” where I became aware of Helen’s great
fondness for country western music, especially Johnny Cash. She knew all the words and sang along in a quiet voice. We called ourselves roommates on that trip and had a very fine time and a new friendship. Helen was a strong hard working woman with a loving family. Cheers for them all and the happiness they brought and will continue to bring to one another.

  8. Karl says:
