Helen Mae Gayhart

Helen Mae Gayhart, age 85, of Adams, Wisconsin died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 05, 2016 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Interment will be at the Gould Rock Cemetery, Town of New Chester, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Helen was born April 10, 1930 in Petoskey, Michigan to George and Hazel (Klump) Zoulek. She graduated from Kingsford High School in Kingsford, Michigan in 1948. Helen married Norbert Athey in 1948, this marriage ended in divorce. She later married Richard Gayhart in 1961 in Milwaukee. Helen worked as a computer operator for Advance Transportation in Milwaukee, she retired as the Computer Department Manager in 1985. That same year she move to Grand Marsh, Wisconsin.

Helen enjoyed golfing, bowling, snowmobiling, playing sheepshead and cribbage, watching the Packers and Brewers, and spending time with her family.

Helen was a member of Home Community Educators, Reading Buddies, First Books Reader, and Patrick Lake Association.

Memorials may be directed in Helen’s memory to her family.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hazel Zoulek; husband, Richard Gayhart; brother, Leslie Zoulek; sisters: Mary McCoy, Mildred Keener, and Margaret Haupt.

Brother: William (Patricia) Zoulek of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Brother: Robert (Mary Ann) Zoulek of Brookfield, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Bonnie Moreale
Grandchild: Leanne Gayhart
Grandchild: Zack Emerson
Grandchild: Jesse Gayhart

Further survived by several Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
