Gerald Robert Hottenstein, age 80, of Nekoosa, WI passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the home of his special friend, Nellie Roberts, following a battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 at Big Flats Community Church, 1326 County Road C, Big Flats, WI. Pastor Milton Duntley will officiate.

Gerald was born June 26, 1937, in Clintonville, Wisconsin to Chester H. & Ellanora (Conrad) Hottenstein. He married Annette L. Wilson. They were married April 22, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Gerald worked for Johnson Control as a factory worker. Gerald was an avid Outdoorsman. He was especially proud of his 11-point buck.

Gerald is survived by his sons: Gerald R. Hottenstein of Poulsbo, WA; Howard (Laurie) Hottenstein of Antigo, WI; Scott Hottenstein of West Bend, WI; Grandsons: Ruger Hottenstein of Campbells Port, WI; Howard Hottenstein of Antigo, WI; Joe Hottenstein of Wautoma, WI; Great-Granddaughter, McKenna of West Bend, WI; Siblings: Kenneth (Barb) Hottenstein of West Bend, WI; Carol Czarniak of Crivitz, WI; Phyllis Hawkins of Milwaukee, WI; Chester Hottenstein of West Bend, WI; Donnie (Carol) Hottenstein of West Bend, WI; Susie Green of Slinger, WI; Sandra (Don) Gunderson of Slinger, WI. and sister-in-law, Gloria. Further survived by many nieces & nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in Death by his wife, Annette; twin infants that passed at birth; brothers, Dennis and Ronnie; sister-in-law, Barb; brothers-in-law: Bill Czarniak, Jack Hawkins, and Bob Green.
