Evelyn (Sorrell) Schmocker from Mauston WI, passed away peacefully September 20 at Elroy Health Services.
She had a passion for reading and loved taking vacations with her family. She worked as an RN at Hess Hospital helping people for over 30 years.
She is survived by beloved husband Joe Schmocker, who was by her side till the end, sons Tim Schmocker, Clint (Justine) Schmocker and Dennis (Laura) Schmocker and her grandchildren Alex, Sarah, Addie, Taye, Kian and Matthew.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Cecil and Helen Sorrell and her brother Walter Sorrell.
In honor of her last wishes, there will be no formal services.
My heart goes out to Joe and her children who she adored, this being obvious by the smile she had when talking about them. I am grateful to say I worked many years with Evelyn and she was certainly a great patient advocate.
Evelyn had a passion for life, for taking care of people and for her family. May God bless her memory and your family during this difficult time.

I am heart broken at the news of Evelyn’s passing. Evelyn has always been there for me and my family. I met Evelyn when I began babysitting for her boys way back in the 70’s. I will truly miss her jovial nature and her knowledge of the world. My thoughts and prayers to Joe and family.
