Evangeline “Annie” E.L. Anderson, age 92, of Friendship, WI died Friday, July 13, 2018 at Silver Lake Manor in Wautoma, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adams, Wisconsin. Rev. John Krebs will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Interment will be at the Juneau City Cemetery, Juneau, Wisconsin.

Annie was born December 12, 1925 in Hustisford, Wisconsin to Gustav and Elsie A. (Appenfeldt) Steinagel.
She graduated from Juneau High School in 1943. She married William Anderson on October 31, 1958 in Waukegan, Illinois. She worked for Robert Bros Sales in Friendship for 23 years and later at the Tepee Gift Store in Wisconsin Dells for 11 years. Annie retired in 1996.

Annie enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers, crocheting and visiting with many friends at the Country Skillet.

Annie was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church for many years. She was in Immanuel’s Ladies Aid and participated in many Bible Studies throughout the years.

Memorials may be directed in Evangeline’s memory to Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Evangeline was preceded in death by her parents: Gustav and Elsie Steinagel; husband, William Anderson (11/30/1962); brothers: Harlan and Floyd Steinagel; sisters: Mildred Meckelberg, Luella Webster, Elvira Carmichael, and nephew: Dr. Craig Carmichael.

Survivors:
Nephews: Wesley (Barb) Meckelberg Jr. of Wautoma, WI; Brian (Joan) Meckelberg of Wautoma, WI; John (Mary) Carmichael of Sturgeon Bay, WI. Nieces: Judy (Acee) Christman of Wautoma, WI; Vicki (Dale) Wandrey of Wautoma, WI. Adopted Granddaughter, Chris (Jim) Langer and children of Friendship, WI. Further survived by special great-niece, Tracee (Heath) Lipke of Wautoma, WI. and many more great-nephews and nieces.
