Ed’s favorite memories were his childhood time spent with Grandpa swimming & fishing daily in the WI River with his dog. Ed loved fast/loud cars when he was young. Ed worked at Greenwood’s Garage, Kilbourn Machine, and Logged for many years. It was well known Ed could repair or fix just about anything. When Ed Retired he started running his own farming operation for several years and proved he could grow corn with the best of ‘em. He loved to weld and make things, watch his crops and garden grow. He enjoyed rides around the farm in the UTV with Diane and their dog Maggie. He could be found many afternoons out socializing, where he enjoyed meeting people and discussing anything from farming, machines, and the weather to politics. Ed will be greatly missed by the many people he came to know.
Special Thanks to Neighbor Dave, Jim, Stella & Todd, Larry R. & Scott M. for assisting with the little things to help out while Ed was in Zion, SSM, St. Clare, & UW Hospital’s. Thank you to the St. Clare, UW Hospital ICU-Critical Care Unit Surgeons, Doctors & Nurses. 5th Floor Nurses and staff during this difficult time. The care and compassion was greatly appreciated.
