Danetta J. Lancour

Danetta J. Lancour, age 81, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away peacefully, Friday, May 18, 2018, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship. Father Francis Dias will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of mass on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Danetta was born February 17, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Walter and Clara (Zaderski) Hintz. She married Arnold Lancour on January 17, 1959, in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Danetta owned and operated Lancour’s Greenhouse with Arnold and her children in Whitewater, Wisconsin for 12 years before moving to Adams County in 1988 where they owned and operated Lancour’s Greenhouse in Friendship for the past 30 years.

She enjoyed casino trips, family gatherings, camping, and fishing.

Danetta was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Monroe Prairie ATV Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Clara Hintz; sisters, Mable, Evelyn, Viola, and Verna.

Granddaughter: Lisa (Dale) Bowser of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin
Grandson: Tim (Carol) Buchanan of Adams, Wisconsin
Grandson: Aaron Buchanan of Friendship, Wisconsin
Grandson: James (Zornitsa) Buchanan of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin
Grandson: Chris Lancour of Friendship, Wisconsin
Grandson: Matthew Lancour of Marshfield, Wisconsin

    Dear family of danetta I cant believe she is gone I cant begin to tell you how very sorry to hear this today so many prayers have been offered for some miracle to happen but I guess god decided she had enough pain now we have to deal with ours.
