Catherine Ann Greene, age 89, of Sparta, Wisconsin died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Rolling Hills Rehab-Special Care in Sparta, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Dec 27, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sparta, Wisconsin. Father Keith Kitzhaber will officiate. Interment will be at the Dellwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Catherine was born April 12, 1928 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to John Edward and Viola Rose (Gamma) Stoker. She married Robert Greene on April 4, 1952 in Iowa. She worked as a realtor in Florida and was very good at it. She was a member of the million dollar club and earned several awards.

Catherine enjoyed traveling in her RV with her dog, Suki; gardening, and spending time with her friends and family.

Memorials may be directed in Catherine’s memory to the American Heart Association.

Catherine was preceded in death by parents, John and Viola Stoker; husband, Robert Greene; sister, Rosemary Klinker; son-in-law, Jerald Spores; and two nephews.

Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    Your mom was a very pretty lady. I remember her picking you up at St Pat’s and I always thought she was beautiful!! Have many wonderful memories of our eight years at St. Pat’s—had to spend my high school years at New Lisbon High–unfortunately!! Was invited to the St. Pat’s/Mauston High 50th reunion–what an honor! My deepest sympathy!
