Carol Ann Thurber

Carol Ann Thurber, age 73, passed away the morning of August 19th 2016 after a long illness. She passed away in Villa Pines with friends that cared for her many years. It became her home and loved being there. Carol will be missed by her many brothers and sisters.

Carol was born July 4th 1943 in Waushara County to Harlow and Harriet Thurber. Carol went to DeGeorge school until she became too ill to continue. She loved school and had many friends who have since passed. She loved music and sang songs she loved continually. She also loved new clothes and always had a few beautiful things. Also loved games, puzzles and coloring. She loved holding babies when she could and had many to hold from her big family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harlow and Harriet Thurber, brother Wayne Thurber and Shelby Forster. Also many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday the 27th of August. Rev. Richard Eberly will officiate.

Following the memorial service, a luncheon will be provided at Friendship Village Hall. The family request all flowers and donations sent to Villa Pines Living Center at 201 S. Park Street in Friendship.
