  1. Drema Mankins says:

I am so sorry to hear about Billy Ray’s passing. I went to live with Aunt Lucille and Uncle Ralph when I was about five years old, and Billy Ray was a teenager then. I’m sure I was a pesky little kid, but he was always so kind to me. Many years went by before I saw him again, but he never changed…he was still the same nice, friendly person he always was. He found the perfect wife with whom he could share his life, and I know he loved his family. I wish I could have spent more time with them. Joanne, I know you have wonderful memories of your life together, and I will be thinking of you, your children, his brother and sister, and his extended family. You all have my deepest, heartfelt sympathy.
