I will always appreciate how Aunt Beulah cared for my grandmother, Esther Kearns (Jerry’s mother). She cared for Grandma for many years. 27. Patrick Kearns says:

Beulah’s is a life to be celebrated!

My brother Tim and I spent a couple summers up at Aunt Beulah and Uncle Jerry’s farm in the 70s, and I hold those memories very dear to my heart (especially chasing Karen around and pulling her hair). I also remember hanging out at Rank’s bar with my father and Uncle Jerry was kind to us – and always kept the Orange Crush sodas coming. Several years later I brought my drum set up from Milwaukee and Aunt Beulah and I jammed one Saturday night at the bar. At age 15 I thought wow! Aunt Beulah ROCKS!

All those years ago Aunt Beulah was a caring, funny, talented, positive thinker – a real one-of-a-kind. Just a few weeks ago when we visited her she was still that same upbeat person.

Karen and Nancy rest assured your mother lives on in our hearts.

    Karen,
What can I say to you that makes you feel better? I can’t seem to find the words to someone who has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. From when I was little, sitting in the bar after a movie, waiting for my mom and grandma to get done with work. I can see your dad and Buck behind the bar and your mom on the organ. Even when we got older and Tobias would be in bed and we would sit upstairs and talk and talk and we could hear Beulah playing. We would joke about it. Who would of ever thought those would be the things we treasure most now. When she played in the marathon and we drove to the rapids in the middle of the night to support her. I remember I got married a week later and when she walked into the reception everyone turned around and started to applaud her. Everytime I would see her in the store, she would always fill me in on how you and the kids were doing. Karen my friend I feel your pain and know I am thinking of you and luv u. Know that she is fondly in my memories…
