Belva May Parr-Mead, age 94, of Adams, Wisconsin died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Easton Cemetery. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.

Belva was born July 29, 1919 in Easton, Wisconsin to Curtis Hiram and Cora Edna (Wood) Neff. She graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1937. She worked for ASCS Office in Friendship from 1937-1941, then for EJ Brock & Son Candy Co. in Chicago, IL from 1941-1945. She married Willard Parr on February 9, 1946 in Chicago, IL. They farmed in Easton until 1971. They moved to Friendship, where Belva worked for a local insurance and real estate company from 1965 – 1982, and then started her own real estate office known as Belva M. Parr Realty, which later became an affiliate of Coldwell Banker. She was very active until retiring in 1994.

Belva married Samuel Mead in December of 1993 in Mesa, AZ. They made their home there in the winters and Wisconsin in the summers until his passing in 2005. She then stayed in Wisconsin near her family.

Belva was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Hiram and Cora Edna (Wood) Neff; brothers: Donald, Ronald and two infant brothers; husband, Willard Parr (1977); and second husband, Samuel Mead (2005).

Survivors include her sons: Willard (Dolly) Parr, Edwin Parr, James (Elia) Parr, John Parr; daughter, JoAnn (Dave Dehmlow) Reichhoff; grandchildren: Jennifer (Max) Parr-Murphy, Melissa Parr, Demi Parr, Todd (Nicki) Parr, Shannel Parr, Jason Reichhoff, Nikki (Hans) Thiel, Will (Cassie) Parr, and Andy Parr; great-grandchildren: Ian Murphy, Kaylee Reichhoff, Dylan Parr, Harley Parr, Brando Parr, Louie Ella Parr; step-son, Chuck (Alice) Parr; step-daughter, Dee Davis; step-sons: Jack (Dalia) Mead and Richard Mead. Belva is further survived by other relatives and friends.

    Pete misses her daily visits at LM when she would buzz in on her scooter and and they talked about the old days, looked at pictures, told stories of their school days and old cars.
