Belva Lorraine Carlton

Belva Lorraine Carlton, age 92, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church in Adams, Wisconsin. Pastor Mark Stevens will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the Assembly of God Church in Adams, Wisconsin.

Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin at a later date.

Belva was born May 6, 1925 in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin to Jesse Frank and Ruby Louise (Maynard) Ripley.
She married Frederick Willis Carlton on February 28, 1943 in Belva’s parents’ home. They lived in Oxford, and later Russell Flats Property, before making their home in rural Oxford.

Belva enjoyed motorcycling, going to church, working outside and on the family farm.

Belva was a member of Assembly of God.

Belva was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ruby Ripley; husband, Frederick Willis Carlton; son, Jesse W. Carlton; brothers: Clarence, Floyd, and Albert Ripley; and an infant sister, Grace Ripley.

Survivors:
Son: Pete (Kristine) Carlton of Westfield, Wisconsin and their four children
Daughter: Janet J. (Bernie) Fritz of Westfield, Wisconsin and their two children
Daughter-in-law: Elda Carlton of Oxford, Wisconsin and her five children
Further survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and family friends.
