Barbara E. Perkins

Barbara E. Perkins, age 70, of Mauston, WI passed away peacefully at Fairview Nursing Home on Saturday, April 14, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends.

Barbara was born September 24, 1947 in Saint Paul, Minnesota a daughter to the late William and Erma Warner. Barbara was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Perkins on March 10, 1989. She worked as a sales associate at Wal-Mart for over 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, loved to cook, gardening, and love dance and singing, her favorite song was one day at a time by Cristy Lane.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Ken; her daughters: Lisa (John) Warner of Mauston; Shawn (Joe) Capogreca of Mauston; Jolynn Moore of Tennessee; Christine (Tom) Ninmo of Janesville; and Anita Braun; sons: William (Jolene) Guenthner of Antigo; Will Rosier of Cazenovia; Troy (Christine) Perkins of Adams; Otto (Corrina) Fritz of North Dakota; Sam (Milisa) Wood of Wild Rose; sister, Diane Madison and two brothers: Melvin and Randy Acschliman. Barbara is also survived by grandchildren great-grandchildren, other extended family members, and special friends, Barb and Tim Forsythe and Yvonne Dunaway.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carolynn.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at Riverside Park, Mauston, WI from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Bjelland and Dr. Ahmed and the staff at Fairview Nursing Home and Mile Bluff Medical Center for the great care from all.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be certainly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
