Anthony “Tony” Michael Cochenet

Anthony “Tony” Michael Cochenet

Our beloved son was called home to the Lord on March 28, 2017 of cardiac arrest at the young age of 23. Born in Menomonee Falls, WI on May 6, 1993 he is survived by his parents, Bridget Gorman-Cochenet of Fort Atkinson, WI and Randy (Jolene) Cochenet of Grand Marsh, WI; and loving sister JoAnna (Juan) Cochenet-Gallestegui of Silver Spring, MD.  Grandparents:  Joanie Cochenet, Milwaukee; Ethel Gorman, Ladysmith; and Nancy Kuklinski, West Bend. Uncle Ricky (Terry) Cochenet, West Allis; Aunt Heidi (Brian) Hetzel, West Bend; Aunt Wendy (Terry) Villers, Waco, TX; and Uncle Ronnie Gorman Jr. of Fond du Lac. Dear best life-long friend Mike Haulotte of West Allis and Tony’s little dog Shadow. Anthony was further survived by numerous cousins (Jacob, Nicole, Stacy, Theodore, Derek, Krista, Xander, Aaron), second cousins, great-aunts & uncles, and step-family as well as friends. Tony was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lester J. Cochenet, Ronald E. Gorman Sr., LeRoy Hintz, great-uncle Kenneth Spoerl and friend Edward “Mac” McMickle.

Tony will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, WI on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 12:00 Noon.   A Catholic prayer service will be provided by Fr. Lawrence Frankovich, OFM of St. Augustine Parish 6762 W. Rogers St. West Allis, WI 53219.  A luncheon at St. Augustine Parish will follow the prayer service.

Tony brought so much to this world with his love and big heart for people that he would brighten a room as soon as he walked in the door. Tony’s deepest loves and aspirations in life were to help so many others more than himself, to love all animals, and to listen to all types of great music; he had a wonderful voice in song and was quite the musical performer. His talents were vast from building computers and technology to playing music by ear. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all, and we are grateful he is in the good hands of the Lord.
