Charles
E. Rogers, age 78, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Sunday,
July 26, 2009 at the Wm. S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital
in Madison, Wisconsin following a five year battle with
leukemia.
In honoring Charlie�s wishes there will be no services.
Charlie was born February 5, 1931 in Winchester, Kentucky.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Air
Force. Charlie married Jean Bush on April 9, 1951 in
Denver, Colorado. This marriage was blessed with two
children. In 1956, he graduated from the Milwaukee School
of Engineering and opened and operated a T.V. Sales and
Repair Store in Kenosha, WI. After retiring in 1970, he
built a home on Castle Rock Lake and became a resident of
Dellwood. From 1970 to 2009 Charlie was a carpetbagger and
jack of all trades in Adams-Friendship and Arizona.
Charlie enjoyed swap meets, get togethers with his neighbors
and friends, spending winters in Arizona, spending time with
his grandchildren, and considered himself a pro fisherman,
before there were pros.
Charlie was honored and proud to be his grandson Kirby's
Best Man at his wedding this past July 3rd.
Charlie was preceded in death by parents; wife, Jean
(2005); brothers: Don, Bob and Bill Rogers.

Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
