Gary Neal Patterson, age 63, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died Monday, September 8, 2008 at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah, Wisconsin.

Graveside Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Monroe Center Cemetery, Town of Monroe, Adams County, WI. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Military rites will be offered at the graveside service by the Adams County Honor Squad.

Gary was born May 15, 1945 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Jack and Nellie (Shears) Patterson. He served in Army during the Vietnam War. Gary married Bonnie Boerner on May 15, 1965 in Milwaukee, WI. This marriage was blessed with 3 children: Pam, Lonnie and Tony, before ending in divorce. He married Carol Wilcox on Aug. 6, 1989, this marriage was blessed with 3 children: Sierra, Cheyenne, and Cody.

Gary owned and operated the Lake View Inn in Rhinelander, WI. He also drove for Knight Trucking, sold farm equipment, and drove bus for Lane Transit District in Eugene, OR.

Gary enjoyed cooking, tinkering on motors, visiting with grandchildren, traveling, playing Santa Claus, dreaming big, and loved people with a caring heart.

Gary married Wanida Ronyuth on March 9, 2007 in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Gary was preceded in death by hisparents, Jack and Nellie Patterson; and his brother-in-law, Bob Jeske;

Daughter: Sierra (Justin) Garrison of Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Son: Cheyenne Patterson of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Son: Cody Patterson of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Former Wife: Bonnie Patterson of Eugene, OR

Former Wife: Carol Wilcox of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Sister: Pearl Jeske of Dousman, Wisconsin

Sister: Darla (Scott) Richards of Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Sister: Sharon (Tom) Melter of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Emily, Nicholas, Jonathan, and Tristian.

Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
