Kay Marie Grossenbach, (nee Madison), 65, of the town of
Green Lake, died peacefully at her home Sunday, Nov. 2,
2008.
Kay was born May 27, 1943, in Berlin, the daughter of
Cyrus J. and Dorothy M. (Barden) Madison. She attended grade
school in Poy Sippi, and was a 1961 graduate of Berlin High
School. She attended Milwaukee Business College and
graduated in 1963. Kay was employed at Wisconsin State
University in Whitewater from 1964 to 1969, and by
Consolidated Papers in Adams from 1979 to 2006. On Aug. 18,
1995, she was united in marriage to Robert Grossenbach.
Kay is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Julie
(Jim) Marks; her son, Tyler (Linda) Marks of Verona;
granddaughter, Megan Marks; her sisters, Kathleen Madison of
Madison; and twin sister, Karen (Thomas) Everson of De
Forest; her stepchildren, Marianne (Mark) Raymond, Susan
Grossenbach (Greg), and Sarah (Chuck) Novy; and
stepgrandchildren, Laura, Michelle, Carrie, Anthony and
Valarie.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8,
at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, with the Rev. David
Sielaff officiating. Private inurnment will be in Poy Sippi
Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday at
First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi from 11 a.m. until
the time of the service. During visitation, there will be
ongoing fellowship and luncheon in the church hall.
Memorials may be directed to the Multiple Myeloma Research
at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals.
