Robert G. Carpenter, age 72, of Big Flats (formerly of Janesville), Wisconsin died Tuesday, November 4, 2008.

Private family services are planned.

Robert was born September 7, 1936 in Janesville, Wisconsin to Homer G. and Helen R. (Cain) Carpenter. He married Marlene R. Woerth on July 9, 1960 in Clearwater, Florida. Robert and Marlene lived in Janesville, WI for many years before moving to Adams County in 1991. Robert worked for the City of Adams for five years before retiring.

Robert enjoyed the wildlife, being with his family and children, working in his garage, he had a natural ability to make things grow.

Robert was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Adams, Wisconsin.

Memorials may be directed to the Faith Baptist Church.

Robert was preceded in death by parents; wife, Marlene; brother, Homer; and sister, Joan.

Step-Son: Robert D. (Sandy) Osborne of Fort Wayne, IN

Step-Daughter: Julie A. (Mike) Carmicael of Janesville, Wisconsin

Brother: Tom (Ginny) Carpenter of Oxford, Wisconsin

Brother: Don (JoAnn) Carpenter of Green Lake, Wisconsin

Sister-in-law: Bonnie Carpenter of Coloma, Wisconsin

Further survived many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
