Otto
Nels Petersen, age 94, of Adams, Wisconsin died Tuesday,
March 11, 2008 at the Liberty Manor in Adams, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14,
2008 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Oxford, Wisconsin.
Rev. Brian Rohde will officiate. Interment will be at the
Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be on Friday at St. John's Lutheran
Church in Oxford from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Otto was born December 16, 1913 in the Town of
Springville, Adams County, Wisconsin to Nels and Marrion (Gurtson)
Petersen. He married Lulu Lloyd on August 01, 1940 in
Dubuque, Iowa. Otto was a veteran of WWII, serving in the
Navy. They made their home in Milwaukee, WI where he worked
as a carpenter until his retirement in 1976. The couple then
returned to Adams County and made their home in the Town of
Jackson.
Otto enjoyed hunting, cutting and splitting wood, playing
cards, and woodworking.
Otto was a member of St. John�s Lutheran Church of
Oxford.
Otto was preceded in death by parents; wife, Lulu
Petersen; and many brothers and sisters.
