Lowell "Doc" G. Harrington Sr., age 84, of Adams, Wisconsin died Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo�s Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Doc was born August 6, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry E. and Bertha (Lau) Harrington. He graduated from Lane Tech High School in Chicago, IL and later enlisted in the Navy in 1942. Doc served on the USS Davis Destroyer in WWII. He married Myrtle Wieczorek on April 21, 1945 in Chicago, IL. Doc became a podiatrist following the war, and practiced in West Chicago, IL. He retired in 1989 and came to Adams, Wisconsin.

Doc enjoyed roller skating, fishing, building things, and spending time with his friends.

Doc was a Song Leader for 19 years at St. Joseph�s, a member of the Adams VFW Post #6279, and member of the Knight�s of Columbus.

Doc was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Bertha Harrington; and his son, Clifford

Survivors:

Wife: Myrtle Harrington of Adams, Wisconsin

Son: Lowell "Butch" (Judy) Harrington Jr. of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Daughter: Judy (Rich) Merrill of Geneva, IL

Step-Daughter: Marie (Tom) Kusmerz of Mc Henry, IL

Grandchild: Lowell (Nichole) Harrington III of Adams, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Wendy Harrington of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Joe (Jessica) Merrill of Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Many Great-Grandchildren

And one Great-Great-Grandchild

Further survived by other relatives and friends.
