George Michael Hilt, age 78, of Big Flats, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Wm S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Private family service will be held.

George was born February 22, 1930 in Ripon, Wisconsin to Leo and Ruth Josephine (Welch) Hilt. He married Denver M. (Harris) Hilt on September 24, 1955. George was a farmer most of his life. He was also a voluntary fireman when he lived in Adams-Friendship. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the Army. All this and still a loving father to his family.

George was preceded in death by parents; wife � Denver; several brothers and sisters.

George enjoyed watching Western Movies, playing and helping out with bingo.

He was a member of Adams VFW Post #6279 and the Moose Lodge in Mauston, WI.

Brother: Lloyd (Marlene) Hilt of Marshfield, Wisconsin
