Shirley Anne Smedbron, age 76, of Bullhead City, Arizona died December 30, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Interment will be at the West Arkdale Cemetery, Town of Strongs Prairie, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at Roseberry's Funeral Home and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Shirley was born January 8, 1931 in Necedah, Wisconsin to Roland and Elsie (Hodge) Williams. She graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1948. Shirley moved to Minneapolis, MN where she worked for one year before moving back to Arkdale to marry Robert C. Smedbron. They were married on November 5, 1949 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in and around Arkdale and they were blessed with four children. Shirley worked as a legal secretary for several local attorneys and was elected Clerk of Circuit Courts for Adams County. She retired from that position in 1987. Shirley moved to Bullhead City full-time in 1996.

Shirley enjoyed playing bingo, reading, traveling, hosting snowbirds, and visiting with her children and grandchildren.

Shirley was a member of the Community Lutheran Church in Bullhead City and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Memorials in Shirley�s memory may be directed to the American Heart Association.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert C. Smedbron; brother, Franklin Williams; nephew, Randy Williams; and grandson, Nels R. Smedbron.

Daughter: Roberta Smedbron of Middleton, Wisconsin

Son: Jeffrey Smedbron of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Son: Stephen Smedbron of McAllen, Texas

Sister: Nadine Reed of Los Angeles, CA

Grandchild: Nathaniel Glasser of Middleton, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Sean Smedbron of Muskego, Wisconsin

Grandchild: Elizabeth Glasser of Middleton, Wisconsin

Further survived by other relatives and friends.
